What Services Does Your Company Offer?
We handle excavation and site work for custom homes and commercial projects in the Tahoe area. That includes lot clearing and logging, foundation digging, grading, underground utilities (water, sewer, electric, gas), septic systems, leach fields, boulder and granite work, drainage systems, and heavy equipment hauling. Basically anything that needs digging or moving dirt and rock to get a site ready.
How Do You Ensure Project Timelines Are Met?
I take schedules seriously. Once we agree on a start date, I show up ready to work and keep the job moving. Good planning, the right equipment, and clear communication (usually by text or email) help us stay on track. If something unexpected comes up — which happens in this business — I let you know right away and we figure it out together so the project doesn’t sit.
What Sets Your Company Apart From Other Construction Firms?
I’ve been doing this work in the Tahoe Basin for over 30 years. I know the soil, the granite, the weather, and how things really go on these mountain jobs. I run a small, hands-on operation — I personally operate the machines and stay involved from start to finish. No big crew with layers of management. Just reliable, careful work and straightforward communication.
How Do You Handle Project Costs and Budgeting?
I give clear, honest estimates based on the actual job. Once we agree on the price, I stick to it as much as possible. If something changes and it affects the cost, I tell you right away so there are no surprises. I don’t believe in low-balling a bid just to win the job and then hitting people with extras later. Fair price, solid work.
